We call it "Open Borders" because since the collapse of the old Iron Curtain, countries that were once foreboding for American travelers our now enticing and exciting. Krakow, our first stop, has become the jewel of Eastern Europe. Enjoy the unmatched beauty of Market Square. Poignant history with Schindler's factory and Auschwitz. Zakopane for hiking, gentle river rafting, and wursts along Krupowki street. Budapest shines: Castle Hill, Matthias Church, Great Market Hall and Szentendre on Danube Bend. Vienna for Mozart concert, grand cafés, stroll Kartnerstrasse, and let us take you to Melk Abbey and our friend's vineyard in Durnstein for wine tasting overlooking the Danube. Antique cabriolets is how we will start in Prague. Then explore Tyn Church, the Jewish quarter, St. Vitis Cathedral and it Mucha Window, Lennon Wall, hear our guide in Wenceslas Square discuss the emotional "velvet revolution". We will also have lunch in Bohemia's prettiest villages, nestled on the bend in the Vtlava river. We will finish in Berlin, home to Nefertiti, Olympic Stadium, Pergamon Museum, the Reichstag and Check Point Charlie.
