| Pat and Rod Liner, Personally planning and escorting tours since 1976 |
| History of SET: How We Began: We began touring with students in 1970 with a large company that went bankrupt while we were in Europe with 200 students. Leadership was thrust on us by the other chaperones although we had never been to Europe before. With a lot of luck, quick thinking and resourcefulness, we were able to salvage a meaningful tour. In spite of the "challenges" we were hooked on travel, formed our own company, and began planning to return with our own group in 1976. For 24 years we offered a 30 day comprehensive tour of Europe for high school students in the summer. In 1980 we began planning and escorting a second tour for working watercolorists (adults this time). This very rewarding venture provided the opportunity for artists to paint in some of the most beautiful locations in the world. We no longer offer student travel and our focus on the artist has changed to providing a trip everyone can enjoy: photographer, history buff, epicurean, shopper, athlete, sightseer, or those just seeking a fun time with upbeat, positive traveling companions. All will be provided with finest destinations, hotel, transportation and restaurants available in Europe and Asia. We have personally escorted over 3,000 people on 85 different tours of Europe, Asia and the Pacific since l976. |
